Conguitos roasted chickpeas
Today we bring you a very good recipe for those addicted to chocolate conguitos life. We exchanged the peanuts roasted chickpeas and has been spectacular. It is also very, very easy to prepare and much healthier than purchased.
INGREDIENTS
- 150-200g dried chickpeas.
- 100g chocolate tablet. (We have used a tablet 90% cocoa)
- 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil.
- 1 tablespoon raspberry essence or any other essence you most like. (Optional)
Preparation of roasted chickpeas
- We soak for about 12h about chickpeas.
- After this time we drain them well and extend the beans on a baking tray.
- With the oven preheated to 180 degrees previously, We introduce the tray and toasted for about 45 minutes. In between, occasionally we opened the oven and stir the beans a little.
Note: Chickpea has to be crispy, Like the “kikos”, though not so hard to biting.
PREPARATION “conguitos”
- In a saucepan with water, we provide the bath, in another container (a bowl, for example) chocolate and coconut oil. You stir to help melted.
- When everything has melted add the essence and, if you prefer to be a little sweeter, the sweetener chosen.
- Once everything is well integrated, remove the bowl from the fire and enter into chickpeas and stir and mix.
- Extend chickpeas on a tray (lined with baking paper) and we introduce in the fridge for a few hours or in the freezer for about 1 hour. (The chickpeas remain separate as possible, but need not go one on one, then they are separated well).
- After this we take time and we separate the chickpeas that have been united by chocolate and presto!
We already have a perfect and healthy snack!
