Chia raspberry jam

Chia is a seed with many advantages Nutritionally, high in protein and in fiber and a good source of omega 3. To moisten forms a gel, so to make jams at the instant it is wonderful that so we avoid having to use large amounts of sugar and can have a healthy homemade jam in a few minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250g raspberries (with strawberries also looks good)
  • 2 tablespoons 1/2 of chia seed
  • Sweetener to taste (optional)

 

Preparation of marmalade

  1. We raspberries in a saucepan over medium-high. (If you use thermomix, a 100º).
  2. With a fork or potato presser, We crush raspberries, and let stir for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add chia seeds and stir. We let heat for another 2-3 minutes and presto!
  4. Now if you want you can add the sweetener you prefer. Store it in a jar and fridge.

Note: You can also freeze. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and will be perfect.
