Now that Christmas is approaching, I am sure that many of you find this recipe to be able to make a homemade lentil pâté with real food 😉
It is so simple that you just take time, so let's go with the recipe!
INGREDIENTS for pâté lentils
- 200g cooked lentils and drained.
- 120g walnuts
- 100g onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 80g Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Äôve)
- 100g Champiñones
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- ground cumin to taste
PREPARATION
- We grind in a blender walnuts, until as medium-fine grit. reserve.
- On the other hand, in a frying pan, We put the onion and garlic with 30g AOVE and fry for a few 4 minutes on medium-high.
- Add to skillet diced mushrooms (or if they come rolling, thus it is serving because we will then whisk all). Let stir for about 4-6 minutes on medium-high.
- Once finished, We put the contents of the pan into a blender, along with nuts reserved, other AOVE, the lentils, the salt, pepper and cumin and beat for about 15 seconds at medium-high speed (it depends on how fine it is we like pâté).
- And ready to serve or in the fridge for later. We've served on toasted buns with a few leaves of arugula.
As you see it is a very simple process and is terrific. In addition it seems like a very good option also for the recreation of children in a sandwich, for example.
